In July, Turkish crude steel exports fell by 1.6% year-on-year to 1.9 million tons, and exports were US$1.3 billion (8.891 billion yuan), down 8.7% year-on-year. In the same month, Turkey imported 1.2 million tons of crude steel, an increase of 17.4% year-on-year, and its import value was US$792 million, a year-on-year decrease of 11.1%.

From January to July, Turkey's crude steel output was 19.4 million tons, down 2.4% year-on-year; exports were 11.8 million tons, down 9.9% year-on-year.
